The stone of cathedrals. A sculpture to “Expo98” Lisbon, another “Expo2000 of Hanover, is the atypical journey of the artist that I am. In search of squaring the circle and the need to breathe life into the forms of elementary geometry, play on the paradoxes of my privileged material …the stone. The Bronze imposes further challenges, but offers other interesting possibilities on the appearance (skin)the color. Without compressor, without grinder without any power tools or pneumatic, I seek the actions of the builders of cathedrals, and I try approaching the spirit that guided these masters.
