Jean Claude Espinasse
Born in Montpellier on 12th april 1943, Jean Claude ESPINASSE is from Puechabon, small village near Saint Guilhem-le-Désert. He spent his youth within a countryside full of perfumes and sun , that has made him very sensitive to forms and colors of the south; he started drawing and painting. After his studies in the technical college he convinced his parents to enrol him in the Beaux Arts school of Montpellier, where he has been learning drawing under the supervision of Camille DESCOSSY and Georges DEZEUZE ; he was also painting once out of the school. Then he also learns to paint in letters, pursuing evening courses in architecture. After several jobs in industrial drawing and publicity, he becomes printer in silk screen process. For several years now he teaches painting and drawing, and delivers conferences. Loving the nature, he is still making researches because for him painting has become an endless experience.
