PresentationBy choosing the medium of glass panel painting, I embrace the
celebrated traditional arts of the Ketuba, of the 17th Century School of painting
of calligraphy and of the illumination of sacred manuscripts, within a Venetian
pied-palette of oils and gilding. I have sought to incorporate techniques
of folk genius in sophisticated compositions that might allow these works
to resonate with some of the emotional power and intellectual lucidity
of venerated objects.
